HISTORIC JAZZ EVENT!
The KVO brings the Canton of Neuchâtel into the great Franco-Swiss JazzContreBand network! JazzContreBand adopted the little KVO last May! For the very first time, the Canton of Neuchâtel vibrates to the rhythm of the famous cross-border Festival celebrating its 30th anniversary! Join us for an exceptional evening in two parts, under the sign of gypsy swing and virtuosity.
ACT I: 20h15 (at the Temple de Corcelles) - COQUETTE & NITCHO REINHARDT feat. Vincent Millioud & Damien Converset
A vibrant acoustic journey, between European tradition and modern urgency. The quartet presents their new album "Refuge", a tribute to the mysteries of the Vallée de Joux. A raw, almost punk sound, blending influences of Mingus, progressive rock and free jazz!
A top-flight line-up, augmented COQUETTE: Nitcho Reinhardt, crowned best guitarist at the Zillisheim Festival, the Medde brothers on guitar, the great Combier double-bassist Loïc Grobety, and two guests: violinist Vincent Millioud & clarinettist Damien Converset.
ACT II: From 22h00 (at the KVO) - DJANGO NIGHT - CONCERT & JAM
After the emotion of the Temple, time to celebrate! The evening moves to the club for a high-energy tribute to the genius of Django Reinhardt. A resolutely "hot" set that will continue into a Gipsy Jam Session.
