1. The service

SwingHop is a hobby site that generates Lindy Hop playlists by combining the Spotify API with AI models. The service is free and provided as-is.

2. Your account

You must use a valid email and pick a password of at least 12 characters. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for everything done from your account.

We may suspend or delete any account that abuses the service (spam, rate-limit bypass, illegal content).

3. Fair use

  • No automated bulk generation or attempts to work around our limits.
  • No illegal, offensive, or infringing content.
  • Follow Spotify's terms. Generated playlists live on Spotify and are subject to Spotify's rules.

4. Intellectual property

Song titles, lyrics, and music metadata belong to their rightful owners and to Spotify. SwingHop claims no rights over this content. The site code, design, and original text remain the property of the project author.

5. No warranty

The service is provided without any warranty. We do not guarantee the accuracy of displayed BPMs, service availability, or the musical quality of playlists. Use at your own risk.

6. Liability

To the extent allowed by law, we disclaim liability for indirect damages or data loss related to use of the service. You are responsible for your own backups.

7. Changes to the service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the service at any time, without notice. These terms may also change; the update date at the top of the page shows the latest version.

8. Partner links

SwingHop is a participant in the GoAffPro Affiliate Program and in the Refersion affiliate program, advertising programs designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to the partner site. Some links to shops are therefore paid, at no extra cost to you.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by Swiss law. Any dispute will be brought before the competent courts of the canton of Fribourg, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules.
